MOSAIC stands for Multicultural One-Stop Assistance Information Centre. The MOSAIC Multicultural Centre runs a wide range of fun and educational programs and events.
MOSAIC is a multicultural service that seeks to celebrate the city's diversity and is dedicated to empowering and meeting the needs of its ethnic communities, and facilitating their participation in decision-making.
Contact the MOSAIC office for further information on any of its services or programs.
To be referred to an appropriate service, ask for the MOSAIC Centre Coordinator. This will be kept confidential.
MOSAIC staff and volunteers assist members of the community who speak a language other than English at home by providing:
If you need to speak to MOSAIC or Council in another language, call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450 and ask an interpreter to contact Council on 9777 7952. This service is free of charge.
MOSAIC cannot operate without volunteers, many of whom speak more than one language. Volunteers are trained to help people use the available services. To volunteer, phone 9777 7952 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
