FREE event

TV host, best-selling author and proud crap housewife, Jessica Rowe, will speak about her latest book Diary of a Crap Housewife at Chatswood Library next month.

Being a crap housewife is a badge Jessica wears with pride, and invites other women to embrace. The idea of crap lies in the real-life messes, hiccups, disasters and bad meals that many of us dish up and deal with every day.

In this fabulous, funny, down-to-earth book, Diary of a Crap Housewife, Jessica writes honestly about her talent (or lack thereof) for cooking, about what's really important when it comes to mothering and family, and about her many and varied views, musings and common-sense advice on other #craphousewife matters.

Jessica Rowe AM is a mum of two small girls, three-time bestselling author, television host, mental health ambassador, crazy cat lady and a terrible cook! In 2015 Jessica was honoured as a Member of the Order of Australia for her contribution to Australian media and mental health advocacy work.

Jessica is passionate about advocating for better mental health awareness and support for new mums. Jessica is a notorious over-sharer, much to her husband's frequent horror and her daughters' embarrassment. Jessica shares her amusing misadventures on and is co-host of the comedy podcast One Fat Lady and One Thin Lady with Denise Drysdale.

Lindfield Bookshop will provide copies of the author’s book for sale on the day.
