Jane Caro launches another exciting Talks@Willoughby program for 2019, speaking on her latest book Accidental Feminists at Chatswood Library on Friday 8 February at 12.30pm.

Women over 55 are of the generation who changed everything. They didn’t expect to. Or intend to. Accidental Feminists is their story.

Jane explores how living in the world at the time — with the pill and a regular pay cheque — transformed women and how, almost in spite of themselves, they revolutionised the world.

Accidental Feminists is a celebration of grit, adaptability, energy and persistence. It is also a plea for future generations to keep agitating for a better, fairer world.

Jane is an author, novelist, broadcaster, columnist, advertising writer and social commentator. She was awarded the 2018 Walkley for Women’s Leadership.

The event will be MC’d by Willoughby City Council’s general manager Debra Just.

Lindfield Bookshop will have copies of the author’s book available on the day for sale and signing.
