An oasis for kids and parents these school holidays

Parents can kick back and relax these school holidays while the children are entertained for free in a special kids zone at The Concourse, Chatswood. From 3 – 5 October, Willoughby City Council presents a tween paradise with arts and crafts, dance workshops, movies and more.
Head down to the pop-up DIY Hut with different activities each day – learn to make slime, craft your own dream catcher or design a tie dye creation to take home. Drop-in sessions run throughout the day, arrive early to avoid missing out.
DIY Hut Schedule (11 am – 3 pm each day)
- Slime Making: 3 October
- Tie Dying: 4 October (please BYO t-shirt to dye)
- Dream Catcher: 5 October
Get a sneak peek backstage at The Concourse dance studio and join Dance Central for awesome workshops. Learn breakdancing, popping and locking and stepping on Friday, 5 October. Five 45 minute sessions run daily from 11 am - 3 pm, each featuring a different dance style. Bookings essential (Must be 8 years or older to attend). The fun continues each day with live music, temporary tattoos and glitter bar, a pop-up library and plenty of great food at The Concourse restaurants. During Festival Oasis Terrazza Italian Restaurant is offering diners 20% off all its food – mention Emerge Terrazza.
And as the sun sets experience screenings of Boss Baby, The Emoji Movie and Disney’s Descendants on the Urban Screen.
