SMART EXPRESSIONS: An exhibition of HSC artworks

Willoughby City Council presents a mixed media exhibition of selected 2015 HSC artworks by students from Chatswood High, Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner, Mercy Catholic College, St Pius X College and Willoughby Girls High.

In its third year, the exhibition is now a popular highlight of Council’s exhibition program, showcasing the outstanding creativity in the Willoughby area, and providing an opportunity for local students to exhibit their works in a professional art space.

This exhibition impresses with content and technical skill, primarily in the more traditional mediums of drawing, photography, painting and printmaking.

Students chosen to have their artwork exhibited include: Richard Leigh, Alex Hickman, Isabella Meagher, Lucy Fang, Ellen Law, Rebecca Schafer, Joel Andrews, Matthew Chan, Matthew Lovesy, Nic Montague, Timothy Robertson, Ji Yeong Oh, Catherine Keblis, Issy Lees, Sasha Satz and Rebecca Thompson.

Many of the exhibitors are furthering their visual arts education at university in 2016.

The following public workshops are being held in conjunction with the exhibition:

11am - 1pm Thursday 21 April
Ages 7-12
$10 per person

Join artist, Tianli Zu to blend ancient Chinese narratives with your own modern day stories as you create paper puppets.

MUSIC + ART – free public performance

Enjoy an afternoon of delightful chamber music by talented local high school students, while viewing the exhibition. Refreshments provided
