#DiscoverWilloughby Photo Winners Announced
20 April 2016
Winners of the Willoughby Heritage Photo Competition, #DiscoverWilloughby, were announced last week following a record number of entries.
Willoughby locals were invited to submit photos of places, experiences and people that define the area, with the vast majority submitted online via Facebook and Instagram.
"The Heritage Photo Competition is important in promoting art and culture in our city, as well as showcasing the hidden treasures of Willoughby," said Willoughby Mayor, Gail Giles-Gidney.
"Given the large number of fantastic entries, the panel of judges had a difficult job in selecting the winners and photos for display in our exhibition. I congratulate the shortlisted entrants and winners whose photos display the diversity of our wonderful community."
Photos are currently on display in Willoughby Council’s foyer exhibition space (31 Victor Street, Chatswood) until Wednesday 27 April. The photos can also be viewed at Willoughby Council’s Facebook page.
