HSC Workshops at Willoughby City Library

Year twelve students and parents can learn how to survive the HSC with free seminars outlining tips on how to manage workload and prepare for HSC exams.

Willoughby City Library will run free HSC seminars including, Ancient History on Pompeii and Herculaneum, Tuesday 31 March 5.30pm to 7.30pm and English, Tuesday 5, 12, 26 May 5pm to 6pm.

The HSC seminars aim to provide students with essential steps to manage workload and tips on how to cope with pre-exam pressure. The seminars will also focus on what families can expect and what they can do to help their children to prepare for the HSC.

The seminars will be presented by professionals and academics including, Bruce Dennett, teacher and author of numerous Modern History text books and Lyndall Hough from The Learning Curve, a publishing company responsible for a great number of HSC study guides.

“The HSC seminars are a great resource to help students prepare in the lead up to year twelve exams,” said Willoughby Mayor, Pat Reilly. “Essentially, students who are well-organised and prepared journey through HSC with the most ease,” he said.
