Northbridge Baths Extend Hours

Northbridge Baths Fitness and Kayak Centre is extending its opening hours for summer. The centre, at Widgiewa Road, Northbridge, will be open from 6am to 6pm everyday until April 2010.
The Northbridge Baths facility includes an outdoor 50 metre netted harbour swimming pool set on beautiful Middle Harbour. A full service kiosk/cafe is on the grounds offering hot food, bakery items and ice-creams to indulge yourself when spending the day at the Baths.
The pool and beach area is complemented with a barbeque and lush grass surrounds and is suitable for the whole family. The centre is also available for a range of events, from children’s birthday parties to corporate functions.
Kayaks are available for hire, tours and fitness classes. Kayakers may even be lucky enough to meet the local seal which has made its home in the bays of Northbridge.
“The Northbridge Baths can provide a great day out for the whole family this summer. The extended hours also mean that residents and workers in our community can take advantage of the facility before or after work,” said Willoughby Mayor, Pat Reilly.
Northbridge Baths Fitness and Kayak Centre is managed by Lifeguard International.
