19 February 2009

Melody Market

Musicians, dancers, artisans, restaurateurs, and more are invited to be involved in Willoughby’s Melody Market in 2009.

The Melody Market, held every Thursday, Chatswood Mall, Victoria Ave, from 9:00am to 9:00pm, is offering stall space to people who are interested in selling food, arts and craft, fashion, jewellery, not for profit, information stalls and more and invites musicians who are interested to perform live music within Chatswood mall.

The market showcases a wonderful array of live entertainment performances such as local and international artists as well as community music groups and live bands.

There is also a diverse range of fashion stalls selling jewellery and men’s and ladies clothing.

For those who love the taste of delicious multicultural cuisine, market stalls sell a range of hot food, from Turkish Gozleme to Spanish Chorizos and Asian cuisine, cooked fresh on the spot.

“The Melody Market is a wonderful market situated within the heart of Chatswood,” said Willoughby Mayor, Pat Reilly. “Locals and the wider community are invited to take part and set up a stall,” he said.

For information on becoming a stall holder or to perform at the Melody Market, please contact Willoughby City Council on 9777 1000 or email events@willoughby.nsw.gov.au
