Willoughby City Library has a wide collection of different materials on many topics of special interest to young people. The non-fiction section contains lots of reference material as well as help on exam preparation and study guides. The fiction section has genres including fantasy, thriller, science fiction, romance and crime, as well as a large collection of graphic novels and manga. There's books, magazines, CDs, DVDs and more!
The Young Adult collection has a range of materials for academic and recreational use.

The internet is free for research purposes, and you can access a selection of full-text journals both at the library and at home.
If you need help studying, the Library can help you find the guides, texts and past exam papers to get you going. Just ask at the front desk for help and staff will be happy to assist.
The library hosts lots of special events and activities for young people after school and during the holidays. Recently there's been beading, henna tattoos, pizza, and a band. Future events will be advertised here and in the library.
Youth Services run non-library events and provide heaps of information on general life issues; you may also find them helpful.
