In order to support your independence at home, Willoughby Community Aid provides the following services to eligible frail, aged or disabled residents and their carers:

- Odd jobs service
We can also provide you with information and referral to many other services including community nursing, shopping assistance, gardening, home modification, maintenance and much more.
Linen Service
The Linen Service operates on a weekly basis, and is available to frail, aged, disabled people and their carers in the Willoughby local government area. Fresh linen is delivered to the home and the beds are remade. This service costs $7. Please call 9777 7824.
Transport
If you need transport to medical or other appointments, this can be arranged through Lower North Shore Community Transport. This is a government-funded programme that operates within the North Sydney, Mosman, Willoughby and Lane Cove Local Government Areas. There is a fee for this service. Please call 9777 7824.
Shopping Bus
The Shopping Bus operates on the first and third Friday of every month. The bus collects people from home and takes them to Spring Street in Chatswood. Passengers are later collected and helped to take their groceries in to their homes when needed. This service costs $5.70. Please call 9777 7824.
Outing Bus
The Outing Bus takes passengers on a full day outing every first and third Wednesday of the month to appropriate venues. This costs $26 and includes morning tea and lunch. A shorter outing is also available every fourth Wednesday. Please call 9777 7824.
Grocery Service
Groceries can be ordered for you over the phone and delivered directly to your home. Payment is required upon delivery. Please call 9777 7824.
Individual Client Assistance
Individual Client Assistance can provide a companion to accompany you on errands, appointments, personal and other shopping. Assistance in the home with small tasks such as reading mail can be arranged for those with visual impairment. Each service costs $10. For further information please ring 9777 7824.
Social Circle
Social Circle is a way to relax and make new friends. The circle meets every Thursday at the Dougherty Centre from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. Activities range from games to guest speakers to demonstrations to movies to much more! It costs $2 to contribute to refreshments. For more information call 9777 7824. You can find out more about

Odd Jobs
Assistance is available for minor household odd-jobs like changing lightbulbs. This is provided by St Leonards Rotary Club, and there is no fee.
Legal Service
If you cannot access a solicitor due to financial or social situations, our legal service is available by appointment from 6.30 pm on Thursdays. Interviews are confidential. Call 9777 7800 to book.
Tax Service
Volunteers who are fully trained and accredited by the Australian Tax Office are available by appointment to provide a tax service for people on low incomes who meet the qualifying criteria. There is no fee but an appointment is necessary. Please call 9777 7800.
