Willoughby Spring Festival Event Grants – Call For Applications

The Willoughby Spring Festival enters its 16th year in 2012. Last year the festival attracted 200,000 people across fifty events ranging from visual arts, botanics and theatre to music, cultural celebrations and outdoor activities. Many of these events were organised by the local community. A highlight of the festival is the StreetFair, which will take place on Saturday 15th September.

Applications are now open to community and cultural organisations to run events during the Willoughby Spring Festival 2012 as either an umbrella or grant event.

Spring Festival Umbrella Event

As an umbrella event, the event will appear in the Willoughby Spring Festival program that is distributed throughout Willoughby. It will receive marketing promotion through Willoughby City Council’s website and media releases.

Spring Festival Grant Program

Willoughby City Council supports the community with the Willoughby City Spring Festival Event Grants. Grants of up to $3300 (including GST) are available for a single event. This is in addition to the support received through the umbrella event program.
