‘One night in September’ was conceived and directed by Richard Hayes-Marshall as a montage of single Act pieces of theatre using mime movement, personage and mask. The evening offers a display that ranges from a conventional presentation of character roles to the demonstrative nature of the archetypical characters of the Commedia dell’Arte and the proper clown.
Each actor develops their own character, and use masks, costume and make-up to elevate the presentation of the personage.
