Australia Day bannerCelebrate Australia Day from 9:30am on Thursday 26th January 2012 at The Concourse, Victoria Ave, Chatswood.

The celebration begins with an address from the Mayor Councillor Pat Reilly, Australia Day Ambassador, Mr Don Spencer OAM followed by a Citizenship Ceremony, the Citizen of the Year Awards and performances by the Australia Day Children’s Choir.

Citizen of the Year Awards

Nominations for the 2012 Citizen of the Year Awards have now closed. There are 4 categories, Citizen of the Year Award, Young Citizen of the Year Award, Services to Young People Award and the Cultural and Community Building Award.

Australia Day Children’s Choir

Open to all children living and studying in the Willoughby area, the Children’s Choir will be singing National Anthem, Advance Australia Fair and We are Australian.

Rehearsals begin from Tuesday 15th November 2011 at the Dougherty Community Centre.
