Vacation Care

Vacation Care services provide care to primary school aged children during the NSW gazetted school holiday periods.  Council operates three Vacation Care services:

Council’s Vacation Care services comply with the National Standards for Outside School Hours Care, and participate in the Outside School Hours Care Quality Assurance process. Staff provide leisure and recreation based programs, and generally there is an excursion available on most days. Children are required to bring their own lunch.

Summer 2009 - 2010 program now available

To enrol, download and complete the  Vacation Care Enrolment Form - Summer 2009-2010 - 56 KB.

Bookings for Summer Vacation Care open on Monday 7 December 2009 and can be made at Council’s Help and Service Centre between 8.30am and 5pm weekdays. Alternately, you can place completed enrolment forms on the after-hours box outside the front entrance of Council's Help & Service Centre on Level 4. Mail bookings must be recieved by Monday 7 December.

Vacation Care at any of Council’s three services costs $39 per day per child. Fees may be reduced if families are eligible for the Child Care Benefit.
