The Last Hurrah

The Last Hurrah

The closing ceremony of the Willoughby Civic CentreThe Civic Centre Last Hurrah

FREE EVENT

8pm, Saturday 29 September
Willoughby Civic Centre, 409 Victoria Avenue Chatswood

With over a 100 years of history, the Civic Centre site has been shared by many performing arts organisations, community celebrations and civic ceremonies. The site holds memories for many people and holds a special place in the hearts and minds of the people of Willoughby and the greater north shore. For some it was their first time on stage for others their first experience of a live performance or where they became an Australian Citizen. We invite you to join us for a "Last Hurrah", an evening of music and entertainment including fireworks, a final performance by the Willoughby Wurlitzer, and a ceremonial locking of the doors. Be with us as we reminisce and look forward to the new heart and soul of Willoughby, Chatswood Civic Place.

Donate $100 or more to the Civic Place Trust and have your name put on an honour role.

RSVP essential by Friday 28 September. Phone 9777 1000 or email email@willoughby.nsw.gov.au
