There are lots of options for relaxing in Willoughby. Although the area is famous for its shopping, there are also places to fly a kite, have a picnic, swim, play sport or go bushwalking close by. Or perhaps you’d like to try an exercise or craft class at one of the community centres… all that and more is close by, and Council is eager for you to take advantage of these facilities.

There are parks, playgrounds, and plenty of sporting fields around for hire that are used regularly by local sporting clubs. You can see the list, what they can be used for, and which clubs use them.

The Northbridge Baths are a popular choice for swimmers who want a more natural setting.

There are also bushwalking tracks, and guided walks that provide a relaxing and fascinating outdoor experience.

Hiring of parks, sportsgrounds and reserves
