The following information has been supplied from current Civic Place data. Material quantities listed are approximate:
- There are currently approximately 130 people working on the Civic Place site.
- During the largest concrete pour onsite, there will be 1.8 million kilograms of concrete placed.
- 100,000m3 of shale and sandstone was removed during excavation.
- 1,700 tonnes of steel reinforcement will be used throughout the structure.
- 20,000m3 of concrete placed.
- 80,000m3 of formwork will be used during construction.
- 650 doors will be installed throughout the entire Civic Place site.
- There will be 1,700m3 of block work onsite.
- Civic Place will feature 6,500m2 of metal clad façade.
- Civic Place will have 1,000m2 of stone cladding.
- There will be 3,000m2 of glazing throughout the buildings and landscaped areas.
- 1km of balustrades will be erected.
- Civic Place will include 110 flights of stairs.
