Plans & Reports

Keeping track of the health of the environment and measuring the successes and failures of programmes to help restore Willoughby's natural areas is key to improving future programmes.

The State of the Environment Report (SoE) is a record of the environment's health and the effectiveness of efforts to protect and increase it. The status of the environment is measured through a set of indicators. These indicators are updated yearly so that trends over time can be seen.

The report focuses on sustainability, human activity, land, biodiversity, water, the atmosphere, and community health and safety.

Last reporting period all seven NSROC Councils put out a regional report. Willoughby's edition is available electronically, or from the Help & Service Centre.
