Opening Hours:
- 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month, 10am – 4pm
- 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month, 1.30pm – 4pm
- School tours and other groups are welcome by appointment.

Entry by donation.
‘Boronia’ is a federation style brick cottage built in 1912 which was bequeathed to the Society for use as a Museum in 1988 by Mrs. Sonya Narelle Kirkham.
The Museum holds an extensive collection of local pottery, tools, household items, toys and treasures, and items from local industries – brickworks and tanneries..jpg)
- See traditional hand tools, used in coachbuilding, stonemasonry and housing construction.
- A very early typewriter is on show.
- Fine lace and china, early sewing machines and baby’s high chairs.
- Irons, wringers, coffee grinders and a butter cooler
- Photos of heritage homes and buildings
- Memorabilia and toys from people in the Willoughby district
Willoughby District Historical Society Inc
The Society aims to preserve the rich tapestry of Willoughby’s past. Its members maintain local history records, study Willoughby’s social, cultural and industrial history, and its volunteer members organise exhibitions and guided tours so others can understand and appreciate the community’s past.
Meetings are held at 2pm on the first Monday of the month (except January) at Dougherty Centre, 7 Victor St Chatswood. There are regular guest speakers and afternoon tea. Visitors most welcome.
