Fees & Charges

Joining the library is free, but there are charges for lost or damaged items and for some services. These charges include GST.

General Fees and Charges
Overdue fines	25c per item per day payable by adult Willoughby library members and all members of other Shorelink Libraries
Replacement library cards	$6.00
Inter-library loans charges (from non-public libraries)	Full cost + 10% GST
Library bags	$2.00
Internet charges	E-mail $1.50 per 30 minutes
Placing a hold on unavailable items	$2.50 per item
Lost or Damaged items
Lost item*	Replacement cost + 10% GST + $10.00 processing fee $  4.00 processing fee (magazine)
Item replacement parts charges	Audio Books - lost/damaged cassettes $21.00 Audio Book cases - $16.50 Lost/damaged video or CD cases - $5.00
Item repair cost	Minor damage - $5.00 Re-binding - $28.00
Printing and Photocopying
Photocopying	Black and white - A4 20c, A3 40c Colour - A4 $2.00, A3 $3.50
Printing	Black and white - A4 20c Colour - A4 $2.00

* Please note: refunds for lost items subsequently found are only available within three months of payment. Processing fee is not refundable.
