Children's Books  

The library provides a wide range of services for children including Storytime for Preschoolers, Baby Bounce sessions and School Holiday activities. The Children's collection includes books, magazines,  GRAPHIC NOVELS Junior Graphic NovelsDVDs DVDs, CDs CDs, CDROMs and audio books.

Storytime for Preschoolers

 

Storytime is held every week at Chatswood Library between February and December and at Artarmon, Castle Cove, Northbridge and West Chatswood Libraries during the school terms, for children 6 years and under. Sessions run for approximately forty-five minutes and consist of stories, rhymes, songs and a simple craft activity. All are run by a member of the children's library team, are free of charge and do not require a booking. There are nine different sessions to choose from each week; all sessions are the same.  

Chatswood Library Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9.30am to 10.15am and 10.30am to 11.15am
(Every week from February to December)
Artarmon Library Mondays, 10.15am to 11.00am and 11.15am to 12noon
(During school terms)

Castle Cove Library

Fridays, 10.30am to 11.15am (During school terms)

Northbridge Library

Tuesdays, 10.30am to 11.15am (During school terms) 

West Chatswood Library

Thursdays, 10.30am to 11.15am (During school terms)

Help with Homework Research

A librarian is on duty in the Chatswood Children’s Library after school. Children are also welcome to ask at the Information Desk or contact the library on 9777 7900 or email library@willoughby.nsw.gov.au.
