Introduction of "No Parking Motor Vehicles Excepted" in McClelland Street, North Willoughby

No Parking Motor Vehicles Excepted parking restrictions will be implemented in McClelland Street, southern side of road only, between Warrane Road and Fourth Avenue, in front of Willoughby Park, North Willoughby in early May 2019 for a trial period of 6 months.
The No Parking Motor Vehicles Excepted parking restrictions prevents parking with the exemption of motor vehicles. A motor vehicle is a vehicle with a motor. The intention of the sign is to allow the parking of motor vehicles, and restrict the parking of all types of trailers and caravans. Boat-on-trailers will not be permitted to park in McClelland Street, southern side of road only, between Warrane Road and Fourth Avenue following the introduction of the new parking restrictions.
Mail Zone signs will also be implemented in McClelland Street to support safe access to the existing mail box in McClelland Street in front of Willoughby Park.
Council Rangers will be monitoring the parking behavior and undertaking enforcement of the parking restrictions.
The Local Traffic Committee recommended this action at its meeting on 20 February 2019 with its recommendation adopted by Council on 11 March 2019. The minutes of the Local Traffic Committee meeting are available online.
