What is Greenstyle?
Greenstyle is a free environmental program for Willoughby residents that aims to make houses and gardens more eco-friendly. While preference is given to residents living adjacent to bushland or waterways, all residents of Willoughby can book an appointment with a Greenstyle advisor to visit their home. Practical guidance on the conservation of water and energy as well as creating a more eco-friendly garden will be discussed.
What does the Greenstyle program offer?
A Greenstyle Advisor can help you:
- select and grow suitable local native plants
- save water and energy at home
- remove weeds effectively
- create a habitat garden
- grow vegetables and use organic gardening practices
- access sustainability rebates (for water tanks, home insulation, etc)
- reduce your impact on the local environment
After your visit, you will receive a card which entitles you to discounted environmental products in the local area (such as water tanks and native plants).
