At the moment there is no specific Council policy that prohibits or sets out conditions for keeping fowl on domestic premises.
However, there are general statutory conditions included in the Local Government Act 1993 which cover the keeping of fowl and enable Council some degree of control over the conditions in which they are kept. This is to prevent a nuisance or health hazard being caused to other residents.
