The following Local or State Government authorities should be contacted to report the following:
Flooding
Report any blocked or damaged stormwater pipelines within Willoughby that are causing flooding problems to the Help & Service Centre on 9777 1000 during business hours. Outside business hours call 9777 7783.
Pollution
Report anything polluting stormwater within Willoughby to the Help & Service Centre on 9777 1000 during business hours, or to the Rangers on 0417 266 729.
Report stormwater pollution occurring outside of the Willoughby area to the relevant Local Council, or to the Department of Environment and Conservation’s pollution hotline on 131 555.
Leaks
Report all sewerage overflows or water main breakages and leaks to Sydney Water on 132 090.
Report any sewerage or mains water supply breaks and leaks in public parks and ovals within Willoughby to the Help & Service Centre on 9777 1000.
Damaged or leaking stormwater drainage pipelines, sewerage pipelines and mains water pipelines which are located within private property and forming part of the property’s drainage system are the responsibility of the owner. The owner should take steps like calling a plumber to fix them.
