Turn Off the Lights to Help Halt Climate Change
Earth Hour is an annual global WWF climate change initiative. Willoughby City residents and local businesses are urged to turn off their lights for one hour to show their support for action on climate change. In 2009 Earth Hour aims to reach more than one billion people in 1000 cities around the world.

Earth Hour Festival
This year, Earth Hour tookplace at 8:30pm, Saturday 28 March. Coinciding with the launch of the ClimateClever Campaign, Willoughby Council hosted a festival with interactive workshops for young and old, a range of sustainable living and food stalls, live entertainment and a spectacular, interactive
drumming finale during Earth Hour.
