The Concourse is the new name for Chatswood's Civic Place. Opening in late 2011, The Concourse will continue a century-old tradition of performing arts, community celebrations and civic ceremonies. The site will incorprate a new Concert Hall, Theatre, Civic Pavilion and Studio, all a part of the Performing Arts Centre on The Concourse.
The Concourse will also be home to the new Chatswood Library, offering over 5,000sqm of floor space, more computers, and a dedicated space for children, the new library will cater to the growing demands of the community.
New shops, restaurants and cafes, and abundant open space will make The Concourse a natural meeting point for locals, by day and night.
