The Dougherty Community Centre is a multi-purpose venue with 10 different rooms to hire for community and corporate events. In the heart of Chatswood, the centre is surrounded by parking facilities and just a short walk from public transport.
With a variety of rooms to accommodate from two to 188 people, the Dougherty Community Centre can provide hirers with a variety of audio-visual equipment, catering and a team of experienced professionals who will be happy to work with you to ensure your event's success.

Commercial kitchen hire is available at the Dougherty Community Centre. This service is available for casual or ongoing catering, cooking classes or demonstrations. Facilities include commercial ovens, gas burners, dishwasher, stainless steel preparation benches and (limited) dry goods storage.
The Dougherty Centre can cater for your event or function. Our professional function catering service can cater for a full range of events, from breakfast meetings, working lunches, morning and afternoon teas to gourmet finger food for special events.
Three community buses are available at the Dougherty Centre for hire by non-profit community groups and organisations for outings and general transport. Fees, including GST, from 1 July 2011-30 June 2012 are as follows:
