Council’s Aged & Disability Services aims to:

  • provide information, advocacy and referral services
  • develop and promote a comprehensive range of high quality community services/facilities through the development and implementation of relevant Social Plans which meet the needs of older people and people with disability. This includes a high level of consultation, co-ordination and a planned approach to community development.
  • involve residents in the development of services and projects to meet their needs.
  • promote equitable access to community services and facilities for disadvantaged groups and communities.
  • inform Council, community groups and government departments of changing needs and policies.

Council provides the following Home and Community Care (HACC) services to help people remain independent and live more comfortably in their home:

  • Meals on Wheels, for nutritious meals delivered to your door - 9777 7830
