Committees

There are two committees resourced by Council that represent aged and disability issues in the Willoughby Local Government Area:

  • The Access Committee and,
  • The Willoughby Home and Community Care (HACC) Advisory Committee.

These committees make recommendations to Council to address issues for older people and people with a disability in Willoughby. They are always looking for committee members who would like to assist in making decisions for the area.

The Access Committee meets monthly from 4pm to 6pm on the third Wednesday of the month at the Dougherty Community Centre, 7 Victor Street, Chatswood.

The HACC Advisory Committee meets bi-monthly on the second Tuesday of the month from 2.30pm to 4pm at the Dougherty Community Centre.

If you are interested in participating please contact the Aged & Disability Services Co-ordinator on 9777 7975 between 8.30am and 4pm weekdays.
