Citizen Awards

The Citizen of the Year Awards exist to make sure that the outstanding and inspiring achievements of local residents and the special dedication of individuals in the community to those around them is recognised. Winners are announced on Australia Day.

There are awards for the following categories:

• Citizen of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year
• Award for Services to Young People
• Cultural and Community Builders Award
