The library provides a range of services for children. The collection includes books, magazines,
Junior Graphic Novels,
DVDs,
CDs, CDROMs and audio books.
If the following suggestions don’t help or you would like assistance, you can always call the Library on 9777 7900 or email library@willoughby.nsw.gov.au. A librarian is on duty in the Chatswood children’s library after school.

If you are looking for a good book to read, the children’s library staff have created a number of book lists to help with your selection, some of which are listed below.

Storytime is held every week at Chatswood Library between February and December and at Artarmon Library during the school terms, for children 6 years and under. Sessions run for approximately forty-five minutes and consist of stories, rhymes, songs and a simple craft activity. All are run by a member of the children's library team, are free of charge and do not require a booking. There are five different sessions to choose from each week; all sessions are the same.
Artarmon Library (During school terms)
Mondays at 10.30am
Chatswood Library (Every week from February to December)
Wednesdays and Thursdays 9.30am to 10.15am and 10:30am to 11:15am
