North Shore Orchid Society Spring Show

9am - 5pm, Thursday 13 September to Sunday 16 September
Foyer, Willoughby Civic Centre, 409 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood

Spring arrives in Willoughby with the fragrance of stunning orchids on display for the North Shore Orchid Society Spring Show. Prizes are awarded to the winning floral displays. Orchids will also be available for sale.

Flowers of the Orient Spring Flower Show

7.30am - midnight, Friday 14 September to Sunday 30 September
Mandarin Shopping Centre, corner of Victor and Albert Street, Chatswood

Exquisite oriental flowers will be on display, arranged by the famous florist Gerhard Haas (known for his work at the Sydney Opera House). There will be Singapore orchids, Antheriums, tropical leaves, Cymbidium orchids, heliconias, and Gymea lilies. This free show will cover all three floors of the shopping centre.

Northbridge Rotary Open Gardens

10am - 4pm, Friday 21 September and Saturday 22 September

Splendid gardens across Willoughby will be open to visitors this Spring. View native and formal gardens as well as an unusual cacti display. Spend the day exploring these hidden treasures.  Funds raised from this event will support the work of Northbridge Rotary. A free bus tour is available on Saturday 22nd September and will take in two open gardens and two artist's studios. 

Formal Contemporary Garden: 7 Laurel Street, Willoughby
Federation inspired Working Garden: 4 Laurel Street, Willoughby
Native Gardens: 63 Sunnyside Crescent, Castlecrag and 1 Weemala Road Northbridge
Exotic and native cottage garden: 22 Fourth Avenue, Willoughby
Exotic Garden with Heritage overtones: 11 Tryon Street Chatswood and the Willoughby Museum 58 Johnson Street Chatswood

Northside Garden Fair

10am - 5.30pm, Sunday 23 September

Leading nurseries and gardening groups provide everything you need to know to create stunning gardens at the Northside Garden Fair. Drop in on a gardening talk or enter the gardening competition. Plants and plant supplies will be on sale as well as rides and entertainment for the family to enjoy.
