Before and After School Care services provide care to primary school aged children during the NSW gazetted school terms. Council operates one Before School Care and three After School Care services:
Council’s Before and After School Care services comply with the National Standards for Outside School Hours Care, and participate in the Outside School Hours Care Quality Assurance process. Staff provide leisure and recreation based programs, and children are offered a wide range of activities based on their interests.
Children are either transported by mini-bus between the child care service and the school, or walk if the distance is only short. Additional staff are employed to ensure the safety of all children during these transition times.
Fees may be reduced if families are eligible for the Child Care Benefit.
