Author Talks

Willoughby City Library frequently organises for interesting authors to come and talk about their recently published books. Author Talks are free to the whole community. The events usually offer a chance to ask the author questions, buy the author's books and get copies signed. The talks are held in the  Council Chambers on Level 6 at 31 Victor Street, Chatswood unless otherwise advertised. Although the talks are free it is important to book as the talks are very popular. For bookings or more information phone 9777 7900, ask at the library, or email library@willoughby.nsw.gov.au.

Roy Williams - God, Actually
12.30pm, Wednesday 10 September in the Council Chambers  
Level 6, 31 Victor Street, Chatswood

An original book about Christianity that doesn't preach to the converted or attempt to browbeat sceptics. Instead, Williams uses arguments drawn from non-religious sources: physics, chemistry, biology, politics, history, music, novels, poetry and film.

Bookings are essential - visit the Library, Level 1, Mandarin Shopping Centre, 65 Albert Ave, Chatswood, phone 9777 7900 or email: library@willoughby.nsw.gov.au  Light refreshments provided.

Lindfield Bookshop will provide copies of the book at the venue for sale and signing.
