Sponsorship of Council Events

Willoughby City Council offers many exciting events and promotions, some of which are available for businesses to sponsor.

Sponsorship is sought by council to obtain additional resources with which to support specific facilities, activities or programs. The success and public exposure of an activity can be enhanced by sponsorship.

Sponsorship includes benefits to the sponsor such as logo or name exposure, the naming of a facility or part of a facility and broader public exposure to a wider market.

Willoughby City Council has one of the largest CBDs in Australia with a thriving retail scene as well as pristine bushland and spectacular open spaces for a diversity of events. The activities that the council is engaged in offer varied opportunities for sponsorship that will mutually advantage both the council and potential sponsors.

Sponsorship opportunities in 2011 could include among others:

The month long Spring Festival held annually in September
Willoughby Art / Sculpture Prize
Bike Week, Walk to Work
Assorted Library events – eg Carnivale, Author talks, children’s book reading.
Photographic competition
